Development of lifelong learning (LLL) policy in Ukraine

28-30.09.2015 within the Tempus project “A Network for Developing Lifelong Learning in Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine (LeAGUe)” 543839-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-SE-TEMPUS-SMHES in National Technical University of Ukraine «KPI» was held the seminar «Development of lifelong learning (LLL) policy in Ukraine

The project funded by the European Union with the active participation of the Ministries of

Education and Science of Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia.

The seminar focused on:

  • LLL prospects of realization in Ukraine;
  • Learning as an entrepreneurial process;
  • LLL course development for combining science with business and industry;
  • Teaching methods in adult learning.

There   were   representatives   from:   Kharkiv   National   University   of   Radioelectronics (Ukraine), National Technical University of Ukraine Kyiv Polytechnic Ins., Odessa National Polytechnic University (Ukraine), T.Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), Linnaeus University (Sweden).

All participants took an active part in workshops concerning the LLL course development strategies as well as in workshops concerning the teaching methods for adult.

The results of this seminar are very important for Ukraine, especially within the Bill “About

Education”, where are defined the concept and the form of “lifelong learning”.
